Filemp3 is the best for 0-day scene....but for last 6 - 9 months it occasionaly goes not very active like its regular activity...there had been times like no new torrents added for couple of days but recently it looks ok and closer to its regular activity...

STmusic is also nice, getting better recently after this server problem

Waffles is overrated imho for both scene and non scene,I know lots of 0-day releases on filemp3 which waffles does not include, anyway waffles is good for old music

Vipmusic is generally based on rock-metal-punk if I dont remember wrong,I used to have Vipmusic acc and if u look for more techno-electronic stuff vipmusic is not enough for you

    and havent experienced what.cd yet

well maybe you do remember wrong.. :p

    number of torrents:

    rock 1247
    punk 463
    metal 967

    techno 2079
    electronic 1249
    house 5315

    total 21617

there's more house, techno and electronic than rock, punk and metal, which is probably because more of it pres, so i wouldn't say it's biased either way. only major thing missing is livesets, which few trackers tend to up unfortunately.

oh way back in the day on the original site years ago it was more rock based iirc. but now it covers most genres well. mewithyou was giving out invites in a thread somewhere on fst.

thanks for the tips for livesets. i see both are open signups. before i sign up, are they generally scene releases?
