    i tried to load an avi file in TMPGEnc to convert to DVD. I followed the guide in dvdrhelp but in TMPG it says file is 101.89% of disk size and i can't get it lower. Do i just burn it like this or will it not burn everything

    Maybe your hard drive is not big enough to make a DVD.

    Appreciate the efoort but my HD is 30GB free of 120GB, a DVD needs max. 8GB for LOTR Two Towers 2Disk DVDR and my DVD will be 700MB

    you may try it, and enable "overburn" in your burning software (nero i assume)
    or you can right click on the video bitrate in the last page of settings (where it tells you the size) and do "unlock"...then lower it slightly so that it fits onto the disk

    OOOOOOO, u have already made the DVD, ok so explain exactly what won&#39;t work.

    doesn&#39;t matter I got it to work, sorry for bothering. Mods can close/delete.
