Thread: mac programs for bittorrent?

    what programs do you guys recommend for making or creating torrents that are compatible for macs? iknow that ppl use maketorrents for windows but is there a progarm for macs?

    i find using utorrent to create torrents to upload just takes too long..especially for files greater than 1gb.

    Don't all clients make torrents? I'm using azureus and it seems to do a fine job.

    transmission works fine for making torrents on mac, and is my preferred torrent client.

    What processor/ram are you rolling with and just how big are the torrent files? THis is a pretty intense process so it is often slow. If you're working with 1GB of RAM and just a duo core just be patient.

    And use Transmission, not utorrent beta.
