Thread: Having trouble with rapidshare, megaupload..and everybody else!

  1. #1
I'm really needing some help on this.

No matter which service I try to use (rapidshare, megaupload..and all the others), the transfer ALWAYS stops in the middle. It goes great for 2 minutes, then..just..stops. Then I have to try the download again..wait for the timer to run out and pray/hope that the download works.

Getting files from usenet is no problem though.

Is it my computer? do I really need to install Windows again?..I really don't want to.

    To Sez:

I do not have a premium account at any of the places. I've never had trouble with them in the past, only recently.

    To John:
I don't use anything to assist, but I really can't use anything if I don't have any premium memberships.

that's really odd I have a similar problem where my downloads from adrive don't complete on my vista but they do on my xp. . . don't know what to tell you tho, I've never had trouble with megaupload or any other hosts . . .

Try waiting a while and see if the download finishes. Especially on a free user account the downloads seem to pause a lot.

Sounds like it's an anti-virus or firewall interrupting your downloads.
