    For ratio whores... it only takes you up to a 1 ratio and it leaves your actual ratio as crap, so they will still want to seed.

    The more you upload the less time you have to stay on the torrent, so it discourages you from capping your bandwith.

    And the seeding time is based on torrent size so bigger files need to be seeded longer.

    And at the same time, allowing this ratio free type mechanism encourages more downloading and more peers!
