overnet is free but if you want an ad free you have to pay for it and you can find a crack on overnet it self, but you do understand that overnet is practically edonkey without the hassel of choosing servers

eMule v0.30a-LSD12e
you can get link to the the modded versions at the eMule forum.

Overnet is Oversimplified and too limiting.
eDonkey, though I haven't used any recent versions, is just a pain in the ass and an ugly interface.
eMule is relatively easy to use, lots of options, nice-looking, has an excellent FAQ at their site, and lots of people
mod it and make it better.
eMule plus is also a slightly improved, slightly less intimidating version than some of the mods.

If you need any help setting it up, just ask here, or check out their FAQ.
The donkey network is sooo much better than really any other file-sharing out there, IMO.
Of course there's ShareReactor, FileNexus.com, MusicDonkey.net, and a slew of
other sites with excellent collections of hashes for just about anything you want....

But don't expect the speed of FastTrack...with eMule you'll get best results by leaving it on overnight...
but you'll never get corrupted files (if you stick with verified links), or have to deal with sifting through fakes, and most
games and apps are available on the Donkey network a couple weeks before they've hit FastTrack in decent numbers.

Emule connects the best, i havent had much luck at MLDonkey becuase i cant find a good working version.

Yeah I noticed that. Good thing I have boxes that stay on 24/7 because emule practically downloads when it wants to, unlike kazaa.
