Antivirus products have always been easy to get, easy to update, even for free, because if you're online and you have an infected system, well, that just makes more work for companies like Norton and McAfee. So I always thought their leniency with downloading programs, updating old versions, etc., just showed their commitment to secure computing. I could be wrong on this one.

But I frown on any program that makes you jump through hoops to use it. If you PAY to use a program, for example MS Windows XP Pro, you shouldn't have to activate it.

Now I ain't sayin' they should make it easy to steal, but I think they make enough money off of corporations... shit, Internet security and Antivirus should be a given in an OS!
