Thread: Music Is Really Cheap These Days

1. #1
i have 512k adsl
when i download from newsgroups, i get a steady 59kB/sec
there are 86400 seconds in a day
therefore, i can download approx 4.86GB per day
an average 192k mp3 file is 5.5MB or so
therefore, i can download approx 904 mp3's per day
in an average 30 day month, i can download 27120 mp3's

my adsl costs just over 23 pounds a month

therefore, i pay 0.08 pence per track

if the authorities can match that, i'd pay for it

(i'm not naive enough to believe anyone 'in charge' will do anything but laugh at this, but it's surprising how little i pay)
BLAH

Wayne Rooney - A thug and a thief

See that's my problem to. I have downloaded just about every song that I wanted and now I maybe download 1-4 M3's a week. I used to download a ton of stuff when I first got high speed internet but now I just keep up with the contemporary stuff I like on the radio.
