Im having trouble with tmpgenc . Everything works fine on most xvid/divx movies but recently with 1 or 2 movies the software locks after a couple of seconds at the start and i get the "not responding " message and have to close the program.Can anyone help ?

Use Vdub to detect freeze or bad frames (its only certain Vdub that check for freezes)
Also use Gspot for codecs
In file menu on Vdub check information and check the to sse if the audio is an unkown Tag.

go to www.dvdrhelp.com It has a lot of guides for TMPGEnc. Also, sometimes TMPGEnc freezes as if it is not responding while it is encoding and you just leave it
