Not bad.. they have about 150 packs well seeded.

How long have they been active for?

Two or three months I think. Something like that. Not very long.

the creation of packme.in coincide with the dismantling of the famous "i want [insert asterisks] for packs" argument... you can at least thanks them for that
whenever people agree with me, i always feel i must be wrong.

why the reason to buffer a pack only? if you cant HnR other packs? you will always have negative ratio on such site, what's the interest if no small things like xvid games etc u have there to download and spend buffer?

Haha, true. But I kinda liked the ''I want it coz packs'' argument. When asked which packs, some funny shit always came up.
I'm back. The downside is that I'm also old now.

We don't want to be a small tracker at all. We realized that we were recruiting much too few members and at the rate we were going we might not make it, so we opened signup. We now have almost 5000 members and will continue to grow as much as possible with external invite applications and the like. Our aim is not to be a community tracker, in the beginning we wanted to try to weed out bad members the best we could as being a no ratio tracker requires more dedicated users but that was not possible so we have taken a different approach.

The purpose of PackMe.IN is to be an all packs, not to host other content. We feel this fills a certain niche because if we grow large enough we could end up having a large archive of great stuff readily available. A problem at a lot of sites is packs dying, making old or rare ones hard to find which is why a tracker which only provides packs could have its peers fully focused on keeping them alive.

I am always looking for suggestions to increase activity, our userbase, etc so if you have any I would very much like them. We will however not be closing down the site anytime soon.
