    That format seems very unreliable, plus DVD-Recordable formats have taken the liberty to harness the power of this technology; DVD-RAM Type II is an example, it uses dual layers. In fact, a dual-sided, dual-layered DVD can store 17GB of material, far more than the market currently offers (4.7/9.4GB).
