Thread: File Wont Open

    I downloaded a program and when i went to open it a small window with a blank, black background appeared for a split second then disappeared. How do i get this opened so i can install it?

    That's MS-Dos command window u are seeing try restarting the computer and see if that helps.

    what is the file name and extention? what size is the file? more often then not when it does that it has worked it has installed a mallicious program.....

    if its a virus and he restarts he might not be able to boot
    I say run a virus scan on it if you didn't already

    dont worry the poor fella it is probably just a zip or and iso with an .exe extension.

    there arent any viruses/ i scanned and im clean. One is a zip.exe and another is a iso.exe

    When you see two extensions is eiather fake or a virus.
