Thanks, sounds like a good idea. Im gonna try that out because im still waiting on getting my replacement

are sunbeam psu's any good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817709023
as much as I would love to get a corsair im checking the alternatives as funds are a little low right now, and getting this warranty replacement is taking too long.

If your PSU fan is not running then you can get the new one.

Don't know about Sunbeam, but there are other good brands for PSUs.

I think Fortrons are still all right, and the new Coolermaster ones may be ok. Seasonics are good. Google around a bit for psu reviews, and you should get a few alternatives (although corsairs really are great).

Avoid no-name supplies, and brands like ace, codegen and probably hiper.

A new fan would help it rest comfortably.
    That's something.
