    Hey yall I've been think about what 3rd gen noob said in another post about uhh how if you have a like a low fsb cpu and get like pc 3200 ram it wouldn't do much or something like that.

    So i've been thinking, I'm getting amd athlon xp 2600+ 333fsb and i'm getting 1gig o ram pc 3200 400mhz, should i get pc 2700 333mhz for the best speed

    you should always buy what your motherboard supports.

    buy the best conponent your motherboard can support

    the mb can take up to 400mhz of ram

    3rd gen noob is right, but if you plan on overclocking at all, you should get the faster ram. I have a couple of 128 mb ddr 400 sticks sitting around my room if you want 'em both you can have em for $40 including shipping.
