Thread: Thumbnails

    hi guys!

    i'm using win98 and IE6, is there a way to show thumbnails when i open a folder full of pictures instead of just icons?

    I think you can only do that with xp, but you can try right clicking on the folder and click view then as thumbnail.

    just made a research on the net:

    How To Enable Thumbnail View

    A thumbnail is a small version of a larger graphic file. Thumbnails make it easier to survey several pictures at once. Using Windows 98/ME or XP, you can easily turn thumbnail viewing on so that you can see a small representation of the picture contained in an image file.

    Here's how you do it in Win 98:

    In Windows Explorer, right click on any closed folder
    Select Properties
    Click the "Enable Thumbnail View" box then hit OK
    Open the folder in Windows Explorer, click on the View menu and choose "Thumbnails"
    You should see the thumbnail pictures
    To view the files in a different way, select another option from the View menu
