    I have series and series of old comics like xmen and spiderman... if i scan them and make a webpage of them is it legal?

    lol aitee well first im thinking of turning the calvin n hobbes comics to a site


    lol the author isnt around anymore right? lol then if i get time i can scan up all my old comics "xmen, spiderman, simpsons etc."

    Doesn't matter if the author is still around. It's the author's publisher that'll getcha for copyright violation... and if not the publisher, then it'll be whoever owns the rights to the work.... usually the creators family.
