Avi-svcd

I've got alot of .Avi films and have recently got a New Dvd player that plays SVCD files which is great!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's easy (i'm thick ) to convert .Avi's to Svcd's? I've looked at the dvd-r help website and it looks complicated??
I don't want jazzy menu's or anything i just want to be able to play films on my new Dvd player!

Just go back to DVD-R help because somenone will just tell u the same thing that is already there.

suse just experment with some of those programs till you find one that works for you
