I think, were there to be a poll ( catch that Hobbes?), that I would vote for "if god did be there and e' liked me and stuff"
simply because the "and stuff" includes the possibility of the infinite, implicit in " god did be there".

Of course, as always, I asked myself " what would Bishop Spong say?"
