I think everyone has there own favourite, Top 2 are nice and expensive but very reliable, Go and look in a computer store and see for yourself what good for you and your pocket, My self I got stuck on the band wagon of good brand names means the best Monitor but soon changed my mind and got a cheap one thats works for everything I need, I have a cheap Hanns G HX191D, The good thing about this is,Its a peice of piss to fix if it breaks, as I had done after 3-4 yrs of use,A couple of capacitors replaced on the board and Its as good as new

It depends, you cannot really go just by the brand. If quality is on the top of your list, checkout pro monitor review websites like TFT Central.

I second this. If you've got the money, a Dell Ultrasharp U2410 is well worth it.

I concur as well. I have never had any problems with Dell LCD monitors

I only buy Acer monitors , great bang for the buck . Price is sadly a selling point for me . I own two and could n't be happier .
