    Severely Limited Invites:

"Up until now SuperTorrents has had a very open and lax invite system. Starting in March, we will be severely limiting the amount of invites that are given out to our members. This also includes taking away most invites you may have. The new invite policies will be posted in the FAQ by March and user promotions will result in fewer invites as well. This is an effort to stop the rampant cheating, dupe accounts and the sale of invites."

SuperTorrents is one of the older private trackers out there. The site is primarily a General/0Day tracker but the recent merger with STMusic has inherited them a ton of music torrents as well.STM merger was a massive boost to SuperTorrents user base as well as torrent index and it’s now a much larger private tracker that what it used to be a couple of months ago.

STMusic section: there are currently 37,675 torrent

Stats: Total Torrents: 63,000+ users: 15,000+
ST (general section) : 25,000 torrent
ST (music section) : 38,000 torrent

    Stats:
    Peers 227,137
    Seeders 216,465
    Leechers 10,672
    Seeder/leecher ratio (%) 2028

Very good scene tracker. Recommend it.

Signups will be open until Monday due to the closure of another torrent site, PiSexy. We invite anyone who was a member of PiSexy to sign up, hopefully you can find a new home in ST. There is a forum thread where you can find some information related to the closure and talk to other ex-PiSexy members.

Help Wanted: Welcome New Members added 10 hours ago

    Ratio's and User Classes

In light of recent events we have decided to relax our ratio requirements a little bit in order to give our new members a better chance of remaining members. Members of the "N00b" class will now have 60 days to reach user status, up from 45 days. Members of the "User" class will now have 90 days, up from 60 days, until they are susceptible to ratio warnings/bans. Essentially, this means that you are required to upload or download 5GB's in 60 days, while maintaining at least a .5 ratio, in order to reach the user class. Once you have reached the "User" class you have 90 days from the point of registration to get your ratio to .9 or higher, regardless of upload/download amount. See the User Class section of the FAQ for more details. Good luck!
    Help Wanted

We are always looking for new staff and to make things easier we have introduced applications for uploaders/racers as well as other staff such as FLS and coders. In particular, we are looking for FLS, uploaders, racers, designers and coders. We promote from the FLS team so don't bother applying for a moderator or admin position. Coders must have expert experience in PHP, MySQL, XHTML, JS/AJAX and/or design. Uploaders must have at least a 10mbit connection, preferably a seedbox. Racers MUST have FTP scene access and a seedbox/high speed connection is NOT required. Apply Now!

This is a good site but if you are a new user there you have to be really careful to meet their ratio requirements in the first 60 days. Otherwise your account is toast.
