Notes: BitMe might well be the best but you will absolutely need other e-learning trackers with less strict ratio requirements. Banned users are probably close to 200k with most banned for poor ratio, and ratio cheating fails must be high as well. Failing to read the ratio rules is biggest mistake most new, and soon to depart, members make. I have invited thirty people here and all are banned for crappy ratio.
Special note: Three ways to prosper at BitMe; upload your own shizz (1), seedbox whore on the very rare sistewide freeleech, donate. Survival is download, seed, wait a few months until you get a some buffer and can download something else, wait some more.

    (1) otherwise someone with a seedbox will download it elsewhere and steal all your leechers, you want to do this if you can as well even with a home connection, remove any .nfo's or small files and set main files to 'dont download' if you can to make yourself look like a leecher to lure in extra prey! This is upload wars after all and every byte of upload must be dragged from a rival's cold dead hands... :whistling
damn that was dramatic, in a sense. But i have to retort - this is not the hardest tracker to keep ratio, maybe you messed it up with bitmetv, they're called very similar althogh don't have too much in common. I just download stuff and seed it out there, relatively long, and not feeling like just surviving somehow, even not having top upload speed - atm i can download anything i want few times more again without being banned.
i mostly would agree if you were referring to bitmetv, although really long term seeding does the trick there as well :)

Few years back, I would have said easy with a seedbox and moderate otherwise. I don't know about now though, I just live on a buffer I did in the past.

The comparison between BitMe and BMTV is not really comparing like with like. You would have been better of comparing to what/waffles. That being said...

I dont think you understand the main differences between BMTV and BitMe. I think this is due to the difference in the way we view and use trackers, you are a average home user it seems and I am a pro-seedbox-whore user (much more for safety than ratio). If you are finding BMTV hard in any way you need a new gameplan or another site.

Here are the two main differences for those who want the quick version: BMTV has a lot more snatches and a lot more predictability of content. This one sentence has given you the only thing you need to upload as much as your connection can handle for at least multiple short periods of the day.

A seedbox means almost nothing on BitMe. BMTV is embarrassingly easy with a seedbox as you can seed to a lot of leechers on new content (download from fast pre site, unpack, wait for it to be uploaded and then add yourself or upload it if you wanted), you cant really do that on BitMe with a few exceptions. You can do the same thing on BMTV with a home connection as a cross seeder for upload any time you want to but you cannot really do the same on BitMe.

There are two reasons for this: on BitMe you either wont have the leecher frenzy as you cant predict popular torrents as easily and due to a lot less leechers in general, or you can predict something newly uploaded is going to be popular but cannot prepare it in time as no other site gives you the content at seedbox speeds.

On BMTV is is easy to predict and prepare: tonight I would have went with Top Gear for example (just like the other thirty who did), and Torchwood did do well for me the other day. With a copy of the US and UK TV schedules you can gain a lot of upload for yourself on BMTV but you cannot do the same on BitMe. True Blood, Eureka and Warehouse 13 will do well I predict.

On BitMe you only really download stuff you are interested in as you cannot predict what will do well for you ratio wise. You cannot ratio speculate in the same fashion as I will be doing with my prediction above.

Let us sum up why BitMe is a lot harder than BMTV: few snatches on most torrents, variability of content and is hard to predict what will be popular (so no downloading just to seed), cross seeding is problematic (due to lack of availability or lack of speed to prepare), seedbox is of little use (except during FL), you can extended seed but so are many others.

Why is BMTV easy: seedbox works, cross seeding, predictable uploads.
