just got a new pioneer a06, a friend fitted it for me with the software that came with it(pinnacle 8 )dont know how to use it but i am trying to burn with nero and keep getting the message -drive is in use by another program.
is there any way i can use nero?

yeah that happens me sometimes normally I re boot and it fixes the problem

Go into task manager/processes and end "imapi.exe"-nero will then open

Just unistall Pinaacle 8 and make sue you select your Burner as the Recording Device because usually the default opition is Image Recorder which is off course your normal CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.

if i uninstall pinnacle 8 will i be able to install it later,or is there not a way to just stop it from controlling the drive
