yea, i was thinking in those lines as well. i have a 120gb, and i'm only using 1 partition, cuz i really don't have that much to do with 2 partitions. sure it's fun and interesting, but not very practical when all i'm gona do is dl, watch, listen, play, and edit stuff. ok, maybe a bit practical, but 2 lazy to do it now

do u mean encrypting the files so riaa can&#39;t c them? i can do that with stegnos security suite. hide all my stuff behind a picture. if not, wat kind of security do u mean?

sorry fer the delayed response - i&#39;m talking bout right clickin a directory and specifically assigning rights 2 it. have u done that? NTFS allows u 2 do it per file, FAT32 allows u 2 do it per folder.

i really dont see what you mean by that......New Tech F Sys yer i knew that and yes for NT but m&#036; has revised, done work on, updated NTFS. windows 2000 and Xp are bulit on nt so you are saying if you have 2000, xp you should use ntfs???

no - only saying that FAT32 has also been updated since win95b...

updated fer the home user 2 save space and move quicker....

btw - 2000 and xp r built on nt&#39;s kernel, not their file system.

ntfs all you need to know is that it stores more and has less chance of corruption, and find the rest later

sorry MM - if u say NTFS is better than FAT32 fer home usage, i just lost all respect fer u.
