    k i wanna free some RAM from my pc..... my pc been on for the past 7 days and i dont wanna turn it off so i need some of those progs that can free your ram....

    any ideas?

    longhorn leak fix 0.6 , gets my idle memory usage down to below 5mb , on XP that is!

    all RAM freeing/defragmenting programs do pretty much the same thing - infact you can make your own little one with visual basic

    the best answer to freeing RAM is using 2000/XP if you're not already

    Cacheman also works very well; it also includes a number of other useful performance-boosting tweaks.

    Is it just me, or is that an oxymoron?
    I don't like those apps...just manage your background services better.
