Is There A Way To Read Iso On Your Hard Drive?

You'd need to register it - It won't open any ISOs larger than 3MB otherwise.

Then again, any good copy you find should have included the stuff needed to 'register' it

I never understood why someone would want to take a huge file like a iso and the excreat it to a even bigger file on your HD
all you have to do is mount it with daemon tools

after you install it
On the bottom of your screen there is little icon of Daemon Tools click it
it should say "Device 0: [I:] No media" I could also be another letter
after a box pops up, find the image you want to load and hit ok (or just dobble click)
should load, if not explore the new disc and run the install

ISO files are not compressed in any way so the file(s) would not get any bigger

I can't speak for others, but personally I hate programs that load at startup and use valuable system resources. If all I want to do is view the contents of an iso, I'd much rather open it with WinISO. This allows you to extract files, such as a readme.txt, or to add files like a No CD crack. Then if I wish to install the program, I prefer to burn the iso to a CD, install it, then delete the iso, thus saving space on my hard drive.

OK, but it still takes a file (say 750mb) and extracts it to a folder thats also 750mb, doesn't it double the space required on your HD?
if you mount it, it takes no more space other than the original ISO, are am I missing something?

i used to extract iso contents with isobuster but now i mount my iso image on daemon tools, much easier and time saving

although i never quite understood the art of duplicating a copy-protected iso image with daemon tools
