    I want to have a film on a cd that i can watch on my DVD player. What software should i use and does any 1 have a good tips i could use?

    how come when i went to burn a 700mb film onto a 700 mb disk (in nero) it says that i need 1.5GB of space yet the film is only 700 mb WTF????

    AS NEMO suggested VCDHELP is good site to start from it has everything, to make the file fit on one cd u need to use couple of software like TMPGEnc 2.521 and Virtualdub 1.5.6 u can find them on my site but to follow the instructions go on VCDHELP.com!

    k i tried all that and it has gotten me even more confused. could someone post a direct link to any site which uses any program of a noobs guide for me to get my film onto my cd and for it to work on my dvd player

    doesn't dvd players play DVD???

    im using vcd and im on about the burning not the playing...

    All the n00bs guides that you ever need are on dvdrhelp.com/vcdhelp.com.You are gonna have to read through them and take some time Im afraid mate.Its not as simple as most think and no-one is gonna do it for you.
