1. #1
didn't know where to post this, so here it be's...

is it possible to link to a link which in turn links to another link (without the user knowing it)

say i link to a page with a link on it and that link links to the next link
BLAH

Wayne Rooney - A thug and a thief

No, that's unpossible.

It would surely just act as one link to the final destination. Like a shortcut to a shortcut, is just a shortcut to the file.

i was just thinking about these outwar sites, if it was possible for them to re-direct from a 'safe' url to a compromised one...possibly even a page with a virus

So what you want is a "chain link"?

Thanks to BB for the inspiration...

It is possible to link indefinitely, with the use of "meta refresh" tags. These have to be coded into the headers of each page involved, except the one with the starting link.
