Hehe, many games at the moment only just utilise the 128 in video cards, and 32mb cards are still popular, so im pretty sure 512 aint going to be popular for a loooong time

AMD 2500+ is a good processor. PPl that buy that processor mostly think about overclocking it, because it overclocks well. You should really start shopping off the net. I used to be scared to shop off the net. Just make sure they have a secure site. Newegg is the best place to shop. I just built my first PC 3 weeks ago. ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, AMD 2400+(2.0GHz) overclocked to 2230MHz. Connect 3D ATI Radeon 9800 pro, and some other good shit. I Had bought a HP computer in Jan and the damn thing didn't have any AGP slots, so I decided to build a PC. I did all this just to get a 9800pro. My HP computer had 2.0GHz celeron, 40GB harddrive, 512MB, and a GeForce 4 440mx (shitty card). If anyone thinks of getting a pc from a store make sure its Dell. Dells are better than HP, Emachine, Compact, and what ever else thats out there. If you have the money you could always go for Alienware, but I would build my own PC before I go that direction.

FX 5200 is a shit card also. My girlfriends dad has that card and the graphics on games look the same way as my old GF 4 440mx. If u get a 9600pro then you will be set for 2-3 years not a FX 5200. Remember you want to play future games that have DX9.

The 5200 is the budget card of the FX family, what do you expect from it...? Also, the card will last 2-3 years, perhaps even more. Many recently released games even support 16/32mb video cards, which can be generations old.

if you want to build your own computer, you should always order from the internet because the parts are way cheaper. the best site to get parts from is www.newegg.com, or www.colorcases.com, and www.colorcase.com
Dont know where you live, but here its actually cheaper to buy it from a shop, most of them are cheaper, and safer. No chance of credit fraud [/b][/quote]
Same here.I live in Halifax Nova Scotia (Canada) and we have a pretty good market here. There are so many shops here in Halifax that the prices are insanely low.I can find prices at a local store that I can't find on any of the internet sites.

HP sucks!! they expect u to be a noobie at everything, so they make it so "easy to use" and they lock all the advanced features. my friend got a media center, and they locked his bios!!! wtf... assholes. my old comp was an hp. it was ok... somewhat reliable. not much hardware problems, but still, they think ur stupid, so they throw away all the advanced features
