    i was wondering if i can connect two computers together with a USB cord, like the same connection that the lan uses.
    AMD Athlon 2500+
    512 RAM
    80GB Western Digital
    1.83 GHZ
    GYGABYTE ATI Radeon 9200 128MB

    i mean if i did have two computers will i be able to connect them with one USB cord, or do i have to have an ethernet connection!

    You need like a Router and then do the USP plugging and stuff....I'm not sure, ask this in the HARDWARE section!!!!!

    Yes it should be in Hardware world seeing as this is totally irrelevant to games. If you mean have something like a direct connection between two computers so you can transfer files, you need an RJ5 cable, I think that's what is called. These connect through the ethernet ports. An ethernet cable will NOT work. If you want to share an internet connection you need either a Hub or a Router.
