    i had fan on ma VGA now company has replaced it with cooler ist good or bad
    and one more quis how dose cooler works i mean there is noting on it its just e metal how it can cool VGA?

    the heat sink dissapates the heat away from the chip.

    The heatsink that your company now uses is meant to just radiate heat into the surrounding air.
    They are counting on sufficient airflow in your case to do a good job.

    Because of it's forum it has a big total surface area. When it has a higher temp. as the surrounding air, then it pass some of it's heat to that air.

    As long as your VGA doesn't produce a lot of heat, then such a passive cooler is enough.

    Yeah I don't have a cooler and my comp works fine. I've left out for two weeks and the heat really never rose. Oh yeah I have 2 fans anyway plus an extra big one. I know someone who has six fans with no cooler yet he kept his on over a month.

    So I guess you can say that a fan is better but I wouldn't take the risk of just having the fan. Also just include the cooler.
