File Renaming

how do i get rid of the .exe extension on this bin file i got? you can't do it just by right clicking and clicking rename

why would you want to rename it, use daemon tools and mount the bin so you can play it as though it was on a cd-r.

but for your info, here's how you rename,

Tools>Folder Options>View>uncheck "Hide Extentions for Known Filetypes"

now you can rename and change filetype as well.
note, i'm using xp it may be slightly different on other OS's not too sure.
