Won Auth Slowdown

Did anyone else other than me get a slow WON Authentication when trying to connect to a cs 1.5 server?

Only yesterday, I had a pretty good pace in authenticating with the won server and today it takes like half a minute or so to have me authenticated with the WON server.

eg.

conecting to xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxxx

wait half a minute (this was only 3 secs the day before)

WON Authentication successful
Connected to xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxxx

is it my connection (so far has been running like before) or is it something to do with the WON servers??

Maybe the WON servers are slowly getting rid of their support for CS 1.5, because of Steam?

hey man, your not the only one, im having the same danm problem, exept i will leave mine sittnig on CONNECTING for aaaaaaaaaaages and it just simply will not connect! this started happening since i got adsl, i asked my isp if it was port related and they said its not.

they told me to reinstall the game, but i told them that wont help because i can connect to certain servers in almost under 5 seconds, but they just kept saying to reinstall the game.

im not going to reinstall cause i know its not going to solve it.

it only happened yesterday, steam has been on since ages.
