    well i want to start and ftp server ....but winxp doset have IIS.. i had posted this eles were they gave me an answer..the site whent down..but there is still 1 problem im haveing with what they tole me to goto command promt and do

    expand iis.dll_iis2.dll C:/window/inf

    ok i do that but is says cant open input file so what do i do?


    if any one can tell me how to set up and ftp server another way that would be great

    I probably means whoever told you to do that misspelled something. But to your question im not sure.

    what I wonder is
    If you want to setup a server, why don&#39;t you use BPFTP server
    last time I needed to send a few large files to a friend, I had it up and going within minuets

    ok im d/l bpftp now...i have a few other ftp programs on...i just cant figure out how to confugr permsions so people look at file and d/l them..it confusing
