What The Hell! È<?

i was typing up an essay for english, and then this happened. apparently my keyboard is stuck in french mode or something weird.

Èè;é.稨ÇÇ how do i get out of this mode, or for that matter, whatever it is. please help&#33;&#33;&#33; i&#39;m going to google to look up a solution, but any replies here would be great&#33; thanks in advance, and btw, if this thread doesn&#39;t belong here, please by all means move it.

u prob hit another key or something to trigger it

maybe, but i still can&#39;t fix it, it shows up normal in explorer and other applications, but in word and notepad and wordpad, i get these characters. it comes and goes. i need a solution.

Start>Control Panel>Regional and Language Options>Languages tab>Text services and input language [Details] button.

You can the select the input languages from the dropdown bar.
