it was all good, until I didn't use the seedbox for a bit (got busy doing other things)... and when I tried logging in the other day, my passwords got rejected and an IP port scan revealed no running VNC clients (which should exist). I don't IP port scan usually, but it is my server I am paying for... so it seems like a legitimate use for troubleshooting, JFYI.
a couple e-mails later, apparently there is a policy of servers expiring after a certain period of not logging into the server. I do not see this displayed anywhere, nor did I get any messages regarding this policy until after I inquired.
seems very absurd for something I am paying and supposedly can use as I wish. this better be resolved promptly and properly. I can't use a server I'm paying for when I need it. who cares if I didn't use it for a while... I still kept paying for it.
I was asked if I wanted a new account made and its account details. seems pretty obvious that I would want that, being that I e-mailed as to why I cannot log in, and the paypal recurring payments are still current. btw, my latest payment was billed within a week ago.
I'm sure most people won't encounter this, but I don't think this occurs elsewhere. I don't think I used my xirvik dedicated for about the same time... a few weeks or a month?, but that kept going as expected. or at least it was something completely unexpected and didn't even think could occur.
pretty sure this won't occur to most people, and perhaps it is some sort of abuse prevention?? (although non-use with current payments seems pretty non-abusive to me), but just so you know.
otherwise, the service and support are pretty good overall. not quite the best, but I would recommend them. just log in periodically.

Seems to be hit or miss. I signed up at the beginning of May hoping to push at least 10mb/sec on average. Speeds started out great for the first few days, then they dropped down to 2mb/sec or less. I've been maxing it out 24/7 and i've only been able to push 5TB so far. They have thus far ignored my emails. If I only wanted to push 5TB I would have gone with seedhost or feral, and paid less. At this rate I won't be renewing.
