    does any one know how i can the play tracks that i down load that have been copy protected i herd there was a way to but i cant find. i mean they play the frist bit then go silent or make a loud noise. thanks

    Those are fake songs planted by the RIAA. Delete them, and try again.

    Yeah, if u download a copyright protected song just delete it because that isn't the right song.

    i have "copy protected cds", yet i can still copy them easily.

    get easy cd-da creator, it does the job fine.

    if your getting these files frm kazaa, then they have prob been done by windows media player and are protected.

    I keep posting all the bad stuff about wmp9 and everyone seem not to give a shit, I seen stuff on other forums wear it rewrites the header of songs, I believe thats why their are so many fakes, they were good at one point, then someone played it on wmp9, rewrote the header, then sheared it to someone else and since their not the original person, it makes it un-playable
