I got 34 peers and 4 seeds connected, but my download speed is only 6kb/sec .
First I would like to say I already allowed ports to use BT (6881 - 6999) and I'm sharing at a reasonable rate so my download doesn't get choked.

But I'm still get very low speeds on mt 256k adsl connection.
Since i"m using shad0w's experimental client, I can tell by using the advanced tab. OUt of 34 peers and 4 seeds only 7 are sharing.

And, I realise all my peers are interested but are choked/snubbed watever. So I'm very sad to say that 7 are sharing and the other 27 are choked or not sharing, imagine how much speed I can get if this guys are sharing.

Can anyone tell me h ow to reduce choke?? I reallyneed the speed. thanks

You mean 27 out of 34 users being choked is normal? The thing's been downloading for 1 whole day. If it's meant to start it's about damned time.

That's because the person uploading might not have a fast connection.

I'll look into musleman's post, but I was fiddling around with the client and I clicked on "finish allocation". Ok, what the heck did that allocation thing do? My download doesn't seem to be affected but what has it performed?
