Thread: 128 Ram?!?

  1. #1
I bought a computer about a year ago when i didnt know to much about them, and it only came with 128 mb of ram!? whats the point in even having a computer? 128 mb of ram is pretty much useless, why do they even make anything less then 256?
im gonna upgrade to 512 at least, and i was just wondering how and where are the best deals are to get good performance, but not pay a lot

They get away with selling the minimum they can get away with. The lower their costs the higher the profit.

so would it be better to order one from them or to buy from staples or some other big chain store?

yeah, i just use my computer for regular stuff like typing and regular programs and then i play some games like counter strike, counting on HL2 as well, so i want them to run smoothly, but i do not need really high end stuff, just regular probably
