    "start button" "run" type msconfig or
    "start button" "run" type regedit .............

    If you're running win2k MSCONFIG doesnt come with it. Just download a copy and stick it in your WindoZe folder.

    jvPowertools has a bunch of tools that are handy for your registry, and it has a section to clean out your startup processes.
    It's much easier for someone who's not familiar with direct registry editing.

    Get Regcleaner its easy to use and you don't have to re-boot like msconfig.
