My New Sound Card

Have you checked the cd to see if the app's are there they should be (I know its a daft question).

Ok just looked at the board and they say you NEED the items above or a no go.

I'd hit the top one yes it will load the drivers again but won't hurt and see what you get, you will have to reboot too.

You posted before I could answer looking at the chip now I would think any software that THAT chip comes with should work and shouldn't affect the m/board in any way its only software to read the chip on the sound card. I will keep looking for the software for the sound card from another board or that card does come in a box just have to find the thing will get back to you.

just for a test i put the Rear speakers into the blue port and kept the left and right speakers in the green port.i have no sound coming from the orange or black ports how do i configure them?

btw how do you get the microphone working if the speaker is using the port?
