??? , i never knew if u played say an avi or mpeg file, pop ups came up. I've so far never have come across a vid file that has spyware integrated into it. S&D Spybot should get rid of it. go to google, search up Spybot S&D, download latest version, install it, run it, upgrade it (download patch from withing program), then search for problems, and fix the ones listed. There ya go, it should stop those damned pop up ads. hope that helped. btw, tell me wat that vid is, and where u got it from, i wanna c this integrated spyware for my self. peace

sounds like you're watching WMV files (windows media video, also uses the extension "ASF"). it is possible to insert scripts into those files that make your browser do all sorts of stupid crap.

i think this should solve your problem--
in Windows Media Player, click Tools -> Options -> Security
and then uncheck the option that says "run script commands when present"

viola! no more pop-up ads while watching WMV pr0n.
