Ohhhh, i remember those days were i used to play my favorite games using D.O.S., Keen, Wolf 3d, MK, Stunt, Prince Of Percia etc...
Its a shame New kids dont even now what D.O.S. is..
Some people need help running the dos programs I thought I would post a guide.

Nice guide... but now can you explain how to properly run DOS on XP ? 'cause XP has its own 'new' version of DOS which sucks, it makes everything lag and takes up 99% system resources, so for example, i can't program in C while doing something else in Windows... any suggestions ?

It's great well done its just some people didn't know about
For people who haven't used it the ~ in myshar~1 was because you could only do 8 digits in dos so windows finds it as that instead of myshared etc.
And thats because people don't use Dos much these days and I was just pointing out what "~" meant,keep up the good work,thanks.

I remember the YTS I went to sho3wed us how to programme games on the D O S,
I made one with all these buildings and a fighter plane coming down shooting them and knocking them down.
Aaaahhhh those were the good old days.

try typing command and using that dos prompt instead.
no matter how much redmond like to waffle on about how how xp is built on the nt kernal it is still dos under there really.
