Legal copy of the game or not?

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

Just been to Google this seems to be a Win2000 problem mainly,go there and type in Abnormal program termination and you'll see what I mean.

This is weird. I just started getting this same message a few days ago (and it does say something about C++). But for me it's not games, it was a video file that first caused it to appear (in Media Player). Then I had one or two other programs that wouldn't start right. I tried searching in Google but couldn't find a solution, so I figured I must have accidently deleted some necessary file or registry entry. Now just one day later someone else has the exact same problem. I hope it's not a new virus.
