i installed it just fine but when i try to click on the crack shortcut it gives me an error "This appliaction has failed to start because [email protected] was not found" what does that mean. plz help

sound like a bad download, next time try bittorrent or emule you could try running the image thou cdmage to see if it can fix it
if you got it off BT, then get the latest video drivers

Right-click the Max Payne 2 shorcut on your desktop and look for a thing that says something like "D:\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe". It'll be different depending on where you installed it. It should have those quotes. Just add -skipstartup to it, it should look like this,
"D:\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -skipstartup
