    hey guys,

    have a question.i have a slow connection at home,so i usually download movies that are between 1-4GB,those that come in BDRip and X246|SD.

    i wanted to ask,how do i know that if a movie is with English Subtitles or not when i m downin it,and is small enough in size.I noticed they dont have subtiles on BDRips,but i downloaded a X246,and it had subtitles.I mean how does the system work,are there specific release groups or Formats that come with subtitles..i donno..lol

    Aside from checking the nfo/description it's hard to tell. Both BDRip XviDs and x264-SD are generally done by P2P groups who are more likely to include subtitles (I'm not even sure that the scene has rules for these formats since they're non-standard but I doubt you'd find subs if you do find a scene rip).

    As for specific groups, I certainly couldn't list them off for you, especially since I find subs annoying and either disable them or delete them if they aren't muxed in with the video file. But as I said, checking the NFO is probably your best bet.

    If the group you're downloading from is shitty enough to not even provide a decent description of their file, why are you downloading their rip?

    It's also worth noting that there are sites dedicated to providing external subtitle files that might be of use to you if you're looking for subtitles on everything you download.

    BDRip XviDs are present in the scene, imo, but there are no rules in the scene to provide subs.

    Shows you how much I know on that front. Most of the rips I've seen are older FLAWL3SS (before they did HD) and groups like that using non-regulation size. I suppose it makes sense that the scene would do bdrips though.
