Make & model might be useful.
Edit: And what OS are you using? Lamsey's response reminded me of this, Win9x is no longer supported by windowsupdate.
.Political correctness is based on the principle that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
You may be able to get some updated drivers automatically by visiting http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com - the catch is that you have to trust Microsoft to give you the right drivers
that usually sucks. go to your pc manufactoers homepage and click on support and drivers. thats where i get mine fromOriginally posted by Lamsey@1 November 2003 - 17:29

Install the program aida32 as suggested.Originally posted by poopauline@1 November 2003 - 22:32
kool but how do i use this thing? i cant find the drivers
Then open the program aida32.
Once you have opened the program there will be a list down the left-hand side.
Double-click on computer, then summary.
Scroll down to where it says Multimedia.
Below that it will say Audio adapter, next to it, it should tell you the name of your sound card.
Move your mouse over the name of your sound card and the option to download the driver will come up.
It will then open up internet explorer at a page where you can download the driver.
