Also, swearing at people (ie flaming) is going to get you moderated quick-style.


However, a bit of light profanity isn't a problem; however you will find yourself looked down upon if you're not using it appropriately for emphasis.

Is JESUS Christ a swear word? My mother used to yell at me when I said that, as a kid. Then one time I said, "Is the word FUCK better"?, thinking that the lord's name is a good thing, and she called that swearing, I wasn't sure what was good or bad anymore.

but one of them says ""You shall not take the name of your Lord in vain"

So technically, yes, this is swearing.
