The Sims - How Does It Works?

I downloaded a game named The Sims - living large extenson pack, it does'nt works. Does anybody knows how to make it works. I opend install file but it does'nt work.

yes... it's an "Expansion pack" hence the name ... Meaning you need the Original version of Sims and than add this to it for new costumes and stupid stuff. Think BroodWar for Starcraft?

I take it you have the original game and not just the expansion pack???
