Blind Guardians not an 80's metal band. Sure they were formed in 1985 but their early recordings were not very good and they didn't achieve big fame until the 90s.
I don't know why anyone would want to listen to hair bands.If you like 80s metal try Queensryche. They were into the glam metal look but played progressive metal.

Ya know... I saw Duran Duran there also... and said wait... they are not metal... but they definitely were a "hair band" and... Andy Taylor is one of the most rip-roaring guitarits in rock 'n roll... so ... if you dont know Andy Taylor.... take another listen to the Durans... and then get his solo works. He deserves all the praise for being a great artist.
Hair? hmmm how about A Flock Of Seagulls? They are definitely hair... but not hair metal.
