They lost their campiness on that season, but it was still a magnificent storyline. They really fumbled their style on season 4, I had someone recap it for me to see if I was even missing out and lucky barley I'm glad I dropped that one halfway through.

Then there's Misfits which isn't horror but fantasy but incredibly highly regarded.

Episode 1 of the new season gave me a bit of a scare, I found it an entirely disappointing return. But then episode two came in and gave me a great foot and body rub, then turned me over for the happy ending. Triumphant return.

I enjoyed the first series of Walking Dead, and will watch the second when the series is done.

I can't be assed waiting week by week for episodes. I much prefer to watch them over successive nights, without ad breaks, so I wait for season packs to come out. Actually, with the no. of series that get cancelled / drift into crapiness, my first preference is to wait for series to end and grab series packs but sometimes I lose my head. I'm suffering now, waiting for Gladiator to return.
